Welcome to the site of the Yggdrasilstam, we are the Student Scout Association of Wageningen. Most information on our site is in Dutch, but we are also open to International Students! Therefore we made this page to tell you everything about our association.
We are a scouts group especially for students from Wageningen University. But, besides students from WUR, we’re also open to students from other cities and schools and graduates. Our members are very diverse. We have some members who were scouts since they were young and also some members who are new to scouting. Our association is very accessible, as there are no mandatory activities. You can join our gatherings as often as you prefer.
We have our gatherings on Wednesday evenings from 18:00 until 22:00. After cycling up “de berg” we start with a delicious dinner together. After drinking a cup of tea, we have an awesome program organized by 2 of our members. This can be anything! A murder mystery dinner? A crazy 88 in the IKEA? Real-Life Mario Cart? No problem at all!
Twice a year we go camping with each other as real scouts must do! Additionally, we’re present at a large camp together with all our friends from the other Student Scouts groups in the Netherlands.
